To the Members of the Church on the Hill in the Valley of Love…
Sunday was a Spirit-filled and enriching day. Thank God for our Supervisor of Missions – Rev. Dr. Jessica K. Ingram. The message the Lord gave to her – “Let’s Go to Judah” was just what we needed. I hope you have come out of your cave and are on your way to the land of PRAISE!!!
Missionality Profile Study – Wednesdays – April 14th, 21st, 28th @ 7:00 PM!
Tonight we launch the Missionality Profile study from Uniquely You Resources. Nearly 100 members have taken their 16 Spiritual Gift/Personality Profile and have benefited greatly from the insight into how the Lord has created them. This profile will be just as insightful. “Missions is not another program of the Church. Missions is THE mission of the church.” In that reality, “you must also have a personal plan to help fulfill the Great Commission to go wherever God leads you and share the gospel!” Do you have a personal mission statement? This profile will help you to understand how God has anointed you. It will also give you some tools necessary to develop a “clear commitment of what you will do with the rest of your life!”
Tonight (April 14th) we begin with Group A in the fellowship hall – that’s whosever will come. We will begin our study and walk you through your own personal assessment (material will be provided at no individual cost to you - a freewill offering is appreciated). Next week Group A will return to the sanctuary with their profile material to continue their study. Group B (whosoever could not make the first group) will begin their study on April 21st in the fellowship hall. April 28th, the following week Group A will move to another room (TBD) and Group B will move to the sanctuary while Group C (last chance to get in on it) begins their journey in the fellowship hall. Our Christian Education department will note times beyond this three week period to complete the study and seek further guidance. We hope to get at least 100 persons to partake in this vital effort in understanding what and how God has called and anointed us for.

Also, this month I am kindly asking ALL full members to please complete the Mission Survey in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the morning worship service. The survey is a critical piece in the completion of the requirement for the Doctor of Ministry degree. More than that, your input will help us as a Church Body to better understand God’s plan for this ministry. In the words of the popular song:
“I need you, you need me; we are a part of God’s Body.
Stand with me. Agree with me. We a part of God’s Body.
It is HIS will that every need be supplied.
You are important to me, I need you to survive.”
Peace and blessings,
Pastor C
